Six or seven Saturdays each Fall, Nebraskans from all over the Midwest come together to cheer on Nebraska football. Originally built in 1923 and named to honor service men that have served and died for their country, Memorial Stadium has undergone many changes and has been the host to many great games over the years.
In all the games that have been played through the years one thing has remained constant, Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, NE is one of the most beautiful stadiums in the country proving there is no place like Nebraska.
During classic battles in the 70's and 80's with Oklahoma the Friday after Thanksgiving, the entire country turned its attention to Memorial Stadium. As a perennial college football power, Nebraska has gained fame for its football from coast to coast. With that in mind, we searched for a photographer that had pictures good enough to be proudly displayed in any home.
Fortunately for us, we came across the photographs of Rick Anderson. A professional photographer, Rick Anderson, left his family business in 1995 to pursue photography as a full time career. Each of his pieces captures the beauty and excitement of football Saturday in Lincoln. Go Big Red!
