About the artist: Born and raised in Omaha, Cliff received formal art training from the University of Nebraska -Omaha where he earned a BFA. He has entered many shows throughout the U.S. and won numerous awards. He received the Best of Show Decorative Floating Decoy at the Ward Foundation World Championship Wildfowl Competition in Ocean City, Maryland for a Ruddy Drake. He has also won the Best Goose and Confidence category with a Blue Goose and a White-fronted Goose at the same world competition.

Cliff has created several waterfowl for the dioramas at Morrill Hall located in the University of Nebraska State Museum, They are featured in the July ‘02 issue of Nebraskaland magazine. He also sculpted a pair of finch from the Galapagos Islands that will be on display at six universities.

He has been the Nebraska Ducks Unlimited Artist of the Year and the featured artist at Nebraskaland Days Art Show. In 2005, Cliff was chosen the Nebraska Wildlife Federation’s Artist of the Year. He exhibits annually at the Cheyenne Frontier Days Western Art Show and the Aksarben Invitational in Omaha.
