Originally built in 1923 and named to honor service men that have served and died for their country, Memorial Stadium has undergone many changes and has been the host to many great games over the years. However, one thing has remained constant in that this stadium is one of the most beautiful stadiums in the country proving there is no place like Nebraska.
After leading Nebraska to 25 consecutive winning seasons, Memorial Stadium's field was renamed Tom Osborne field on April 24, 1998. This picture taken in 1999 against Iowa State commensurate this event as well as showing off Nebraska's recently installed field turf.
