The Spalted Ash Burl has some striking Burl points in it as well as some natural bark edge. This edge breaks up where the outside tree appears creating a void and not a round bowl. There are some beatle bore holes in that section. The bowl was turned out of Green wood (wet) to perfectly round and allowed to dry. During the drying process the the bowl misshapes and is no longer perfectly round. This creates a wonderful one-of-a-kind item with a texture in the grain pattern that is just outstanding. This Spalted Ash Burl Bowl has a 13" diameter and stands 2 1/16" tall. Artist: Harold Adams. Quantity: This woodturning piece is one of a kind and therefore limited to an order quantity of one.
